AHBC is where pets are family.
Dr. Jennifer Goetz opened Animal Hospital at Brier Creek in 2007. Her vision was to create a hometown family business where everyone gives each pet the highest level of compassion and care.
We believe every animal is unique and beautiful in his or her own right. Your pet is special. You deserve a special veterinarian.
In addition to the entire AHBC fur family, Dr. Goetz personally has six dogs and nine cats. Every AHBC team member has beloved fur babies, many of them AHBC rescues. We know how important your pet is to you—we are pet parents who bring our pets here, too.
We are a close-knit team of animal lovers committed to excellence in everything we do.
In 2016, AHBC was accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association, an honor earned by only about 15 percent of veterinary hospitals in the country. Our AAHA accreditation means we hold ourselves to the highest standards of care and service.
Everyone who walks through our door is greeted by a team member who knows who you are. Find out what to expect at your first AHBC visit.
We practice fear-free veterinary medicine. Every dog and cat is different. We create happy visits that minimize stress—using treats and peanut butter, toys, catnip, calming music, expert and gentle handling, and other techniques customized for your pet.
We treat patients like our own pets. AHBC pet parents often become our friends.
We ask questions. We listen. We take the time to get to know you and your fur baby. Read our Core Values.
