Meet Harley!

Harley has a face his mother really, really loves!
Harley is a 4-year-old American Staffordshire Terrior, or Am Staff, a breed commonly known as a Pitbull. Harlye is loyal, devoted, energetic, attentive…and the happiest boy you’ll ever meet!
Everyone can relate to the story of how Harley’s dog mom found him. Her father, who had lived with her, had recently passed away. The house was suddenly much too quiet. She decided to adopt a puppy. But there were at least 10 puppies to choose from, and she just couldn’t make up her mind.
Harley’s mom decided to leave it to fate. She said to herself, “I’m just going to squat right down here and adopt the first puppy who comes up to me.” But then the first puppy, a little black-and-white one, took a sniff and kept on walking.
Then Harley came up. He put his front paws on her legs and started licking her face. That, as y’all know, was that! Harley was just 10 weeks old when he picked out his very own human.
Who Rescued Whom?
Harley’s mom knows in her heart Harley adopted her, not the other way around. She says, living in that too-quiet house, that “he saved me.”
We all know how much our animals mean to us, and much they shape and change our lives. We can all understand how Harley and his dog mom feel about each other. They love each other like family! We are so happy Harley and his mom are part of our family at AHBC.
